Congress Logo
![]() |
The logo for the 16th World Congress depicts the flaming sun, which symbolizes power and passion, and the other, a weathercock, a symbolic icon for a historically cosmopolitan city of Kobe. A phoenix, instead of a common cock, is featured in the weathercock to proudly represent "Kobe, the Phoenix", a symbol of power for revival from the devastating earthquake of 1995. |
