Assistance to Students

To encourage students' participation, special student rate is applied to the registration fee.　A copy of your student ID should be uploaded when you register on-line.　Please present your student ID (or copy of your student ID, which was valid at the time of on-line registration) at the Registration desk.

In addition, an amazingly inexpensive accommodation is made available to students.

Students’ Accommodation: Hirao Seminar House　　

Konan University has kindly offered us the use of the Hirao Seminar House for the student participants of the World Congress for a very modest fee.
It is located near Sumiyoshi Sta. on JR line, which is 8 min. away from Sannomiya on JR Kobe Line.  From Sannomiya, another 10 min ride on Port Liner will get you to the Congress venue.
There are three rooms on the second floor, each equipped with 8 bank beds for 16 persons, enabling a total of 48 persons to stay at one time.  Communal showers and toilets, as well as a lounge with tables and chairs, are also provided. 

Fee: ¥2,500 per night including beddings, towels and tooth brushes

Food and beverages can be purchased from the nearby supermarket, COOP Kobe, and from various shops in Sannomiya.  They can be consumed in the lounge on the second floor.  However, no alcoholic drinks are permitted on the premise. 

Lodgers are requested to follow the house rules;

■Check-in: 17：00-22：00

■Check-out: -09:00  Please let us know your planned check out time.

■Curfew: 22：00   Main door is locked after 22:00.

■House rule prohibits consumption of alcoholic drinks in the House.

■Smoking is permitted only in the designated area.

■No lockers or personal safety boxes are provided. You, yourself, must take good care of your valuables and personal belongings.  The Konan University and the Secretariat cannot be held responsible for their losses or damages.
